When travelling abroad with Topdeck you may require a visa to enter certain countries, depending on your nationality.
The best place to find advice on specific visa requirements is generally on your national government website or by contacting the embassies of the countries you are visiting. Please remember that visa requirements can change at any time.
Please note: It is your responsibility to obtain the correct visa/visas for your trip.
On our Useful Links page we have provided links to the travel advice sections of some selected government websites, which you may find useful.
If you are travelling to Europe then you may require a Schengen Visa (which covers entry to multiple European countries), while some European countries such as Russia and Turkey require individual visas. Below is a visa chart which covers some nationalities of clients who on travel on Topdeck trips. If your nationality is not listed on this chart please contact the local embassies of the countries you will visit on your trip.
Schengen Visa: For those nationalities requiring a Schengen visa for Topdeck trips the countries that are covered under this visa are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Note: countries which are part of EU but not covered on the Schengen Visa are UK, Ireland, Bulgaria, Romania and Cyprus.
Russian Visas: These are compulsory for all nationalities travelling on Topdeck trips to Russia. Once we receive your passport details from you or your travel agent, Topdeck will then apply for your invitation letter to Russia, which you must have to apply for your visa. This may take some time to obtain, so it is important that you or your travel agent provide this information to us as soon as possible.
Turkey Visa changes: For those nationalities requiring a Turkish visa for Topdeck trips you must obtain your visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr before entry into Turkey. You are no longer able to obtain a visa at the Turkish border. Please consult the website or your embassy for any further information.
China Visas: Please contact your local Chinese Embassy for visa application details and requirements.
Egypt Visa Changes: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the tourist visa fees will increase from the 1st of July 2017 to $60 (single entry) and $70 (multiple entry).
Myanmar Visas: An electronic visa is available online at http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/.
